What fingernail design should I do for my mum?

Tomorrow I’m going to see my mum and I’m going to attempt doing her nails. It will be the first time I’ve done somebody else’s nails, she won’t mind if I mess up, it’s all practise. But what simple designs could I start off with? I have the crackle effects, tons of colours etc. Her nails are short but that won’t be a problem.

Hearts, lines, criss crosses, that’s all I can think of

Ohh I see! You can draw zebra print, leapard, stripes, you can do crackle effect with a different colored tip.

You can do a checker patters, some hearts, or starts or little emocons, like a happy face, or an exited face and stuff like that. You can simply do dots,, or little splashes of the polish, or do half of the nail one color and the other half another color.
