Describe your religion briefly

In response to koolish’s question, I’d like to ask you to basically describe the principles of YOUR religion. Many of us are not versed in the different religious beliefs so your information may be very helpful in understanding not only the differences but also the similarities.

Answer #1

Believes Jesus Christ to be the Savior, only hope, of ALL mankind.

Before you jump all over that buy you should check your grammar. you said "Belief in dieties seems to lead to the inability think logically." First of all you spelled deities incorrectly. Then you said " inability think logically." When it should be Belief in deities seems to lead to the inability to think logically. Really, you sound like an idiot.Which brings us to an important moral "Read your comment before you post it!"

Answer #7

I believe in nothing but what I can be given evidince for. So, in that case: I do not believe god ever existed. I believe that mother earth is the greatest power. I meditate so I can be grounded, peaceful, and close to the earth. I pray but not to anything or anyone. I eat only what should be going to my body (ex: only organic/natural foods) That is what I live by… but I guess I would never call it a religion.

Answer #8

I’ll put it in quotes for you:

I’m LDS (please no nasty Funmail… I know how people think mormon people can be… and some mormons can be that way…) but look up the 13 articles of faith in google, that’s what we believe in, the first artical of faith says, we believe in god, the eternal father, and in his son, jesus christ, and in the holy ghost… I’m not that old (I’m a tweenager), or religous, so I’m not sure if other religons believe in the holy ghost… but basically, he “delivers” (not sure if that’s the right word…) messages to you when you’re coommiting a sin, he tells you in a way… we also believe that Heavenly Father (god…) answers your prayers I can tell when he does because, I have a good feeling inside, or sometimes the answer pops in my head.

I actually have a really cool story about heavenly Father answering your prayers… I was about 7 at the time, I had this really bad leg deasease callewd henoch scholein purpura (german… and not spelled right…) about 80% of kids who get it died, so was in the hospital, the doctor told my parents, that they should start saying goodbye, and I was just getting worse and worse every day, my grandfather took me to his house, I asked if he could give me a blessing (a prayer to God to heal me ) he gave me a blessing, a few days later, my skin’s color was returning back to its own peachy color, I could finally walk with help, and within a week, I could go back to school. That’s how I know my religon is true (once again, no hasty funmail, I was just telling my opinion and story)

Answer #11

If only 80% don’t survive, and not all, what makes you think that is was devine intervention? Why couldn’t it just be you were lucky to be one of the 20%.

Belief in dieties seems to lead to the inability think logically.

Answer #13

Religion in fact does not matter at all. I hate religion and in fact jesus hated religion too. Jesus loved that the people loved him and loved god but the religious people back then thought that they were better and that if you wernt that type of religion than you were going to hell which isnt the case. When you have a specific religion that you belong to it just puts your relationship ina box. YOur relationship with GOD should never be placed in a box—becuase thats all this life is about. I LOVE god and I have totally accpted jesus as my savior and I follow no religion. God died for us on the cross so that we could be with him one day if we followed all the ten comandments and just loved him and preached the good news. After 6 hours of suffering on the cross when jesus finally died the grounds of the earth and the curtain in the chappel split stating that we would never have to talk to jesus/God through anybody that he is always there for us and that we can always talk to him. Religion is lame but it can be good if you like structure but you alwyas have to remember that the only important thing is YOUR relationship with GOD.

god bless you!

Answer #14

I believe in the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Known as the Great I Am. I believe he exists as God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost.

That he once accepted the blood of lambs as a sacrifice for our sins, but, then, he sent his Son, to shed his blood and die in our place, his name is Jesus Christ.

He paid the penalty once and for all, for all mankind. He made salvation available to any who desired it. When he died, he said, “It is finished”. Meaning… the sin debt has been paid. And to Satan, he said, Let my people go.

I believe that we must be born again, to enter Heaven, and that we must come as a little child. We must also come to realize that we are seperated from God, because of our sins, and that we cannot reach him, except thru Jesus.

I believe that he is coming back again, to receive his own, from this earth, and that now, is the time to decide, if you want to live with him for all eternity.

Today is the day of salvation. Harden not your hearts.

My religious beliefs are Bible founded, Bible based. We keep the true Sabbath, which God mentions in the Bible as the 7th day, or Saturday. We present the ‘health message’ of the Bible. Most of us are vegetarians or vegens (no milk, cheese, eggs, no dairy or meat products).

We believe that when you die you “sleep” and “know no nothing” until the second coming of Jesus when He shall raise the dead from their dusty graves.

Marriage is between a man and woman and nothing else.

Abortion is murder.

The Lord Jesus Christ’s second coming is very soon, probably within our lifetime.

Any deeper questions you may have please send me Fun Mail. God bless :)
