How to deliver an outstanding report in my class?

I’m having a report about Hydrocarbons and i really don’t know how to deliver a good on. please help :S any advice? :)

first off you need to know your stuff…kind of like being a sales man…you want people to buy what you say.(not literally purchase but understand what you are talking about). If you know how to sell your product people will believe what you say. When delivering a report the main goals are to stay on topic & not get to technical(unless someone specifically asks about the technical terms) Technical BS will bore your listeners. Keep it short, sweet, to the point & most of all make it interesting by making it fun. Explain what Hydrocarbons are about…show a few pics of what it does to the atmosphere & how it effects the environment…explain how or what we as people can do/or should do if we could to change it! It will bring up a discussion & have people awake rather then listening to a boring report & wind up yawning or falling asleep til your done. Hope this helped.
