What do i decide about school?

i went to public school from pre-k to 6th grade and now ive completed 7th and ill be in 8th in september.Sometimes I miss public school. And i wanna go to catholic hs but i just feel like..i wont be normal if i go there or it will be harder.i dont even like the hs we have in my town there is too many fights and drama there plus, its over crowded.I always wish that I could be like one of those girls on teen mom..in a normal public highschool with friends. But i wouldnt really want a baby in hs.I have friends in catholic school but its just that i always wonder about the past.I dont know what to decide. Please helpp.

Just because you’re in a public school doesn’t mean you need to get into fights or get pregnant. Here’s the kicker - the schools you see on television programs and in movies are far from realistic. High school isn’t like that - you make your years what they are and if your intention is simply to go to class and do well, then it doesn’t really matter which school you choose to attend.

I still have no idea.

Answer #3

If you have friends in both places then you should ask yourself where will you get a better education? I grew up in a city with both public and catholic high schools. I had friends in both. Noone ever thought the kids in the other school weren’t normal.

Answer #4

I know..but im just clueless..because i feel like not many people go to catholic hs..and I dont wanna miss out but i also wanna go to this catholic hs .

Answer #5

You won’t miss out on anything if you go to catholic school. In fact since there is more money going into it they may offer more to you. As far as the social aspect, the experience is the same as you still spend all day with teens.
