Dead puppy

My yorkie just gave birth to a puppy and its dead. How long should I wait before I take it from her

give the mum some food/water, or take her to the garden for a wee, to distract her. and take the dead puppie away from her as soon as possible before she becomes attacted to it. is she having any more? if so, then it will be easier for her. hope this has helped and good luck!

Remove the puppy right away, there is no need to wait, everything for dogs is instinct and mom will push it away.
