I’m not so sure but I think there was some talk about this in politics long ago about making the euro the world currency. If this happens, it won’t be too bad, the world would be a little more united. It’s all part of Globalization.

I’m not 100% sure what the effects would be, but the only thing I know is, even if countries maintain its own currency, imagine getting every country to agree on rates etc would be an amazing task itself.
