Crush Problem Pls Help...

Okay so I like this one guy who I met just once before. He had told one of my co-workers how he thought I was cute and my co-worker then told me that he liked me. Unfortunately I guess he never got the nerve to talk to me and I didnt talk to him either. So now a year later he has popped into my head and I cant get him out. I think about how maybe something could have worked out between me and him (because I mean I’ve thought of this guy on the daily basis so think that maybe its a sign that we should try something together… I don’t know if thats the case though haha), but I also think how its too late because I dont have any way of communicating with him. I only know one guy who knew him and I asked him about this guy that I like but he told me that he also lost contact with him because he had lost all his contacts from his cell including his, so he has no way of communicating with him either.
And what really bugs me is that my cousin is really close to my crush because they are really like best friends and I’ve been wanting to ask him for my crush’s number but problem is that I really dont talk to my cousin to like let him know that I want his best friends number because I am crushing on him… So please tell me what I should do, should I get the nerve to ask my cousin for my crush’s number or should I just try and forget this guy over all? … PLEASE HELP ME BY GIVING ME your OPINION, THX =]
