Which country should I go to as an exchange student and why?

I will be there for about the year and the price is the same regardless of what country I choose. I have the option of Spain, France, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Italy, Sweden, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Taiwan, Thailand, or South Korea.

Well, what’s your major? Look at what the different colleges offer. What country are you most interested in visiting? I would want to go to either Spain or Brazil, but that’s just personal preference.

Choose a country which your university will recognise. There is no point in going somewhere and studying if no one wants to recognise it.

Germany.

Pro: Good public transport, Universities in Germany offer classes in English (and if you go to the right towns you might also find bilingual high school like http://funadvice.com/r/16d9ib8gq8p ), 500 brands of awesome beer (legally available at your age), the scenery is beautiful, low crime rates - very safe, awesome sightseeing.

Con: Full of Germans. ;)
