I work for the airlines, well for Delta, our policy is the bag must weigh 50lbs anything over 50ibs is a extra $90.00!!!!!! So you def wanna be at 50lbs or take some stuff out and put it in your carry on. Cuase that’s a crazy amount of money.

plus just for taking a bag on with you is $25, and that is at 50lbs. If your first class your bag can weigh up to 65lbs for free
