What do I do if I am in a concert choir and there is a bad singer??

I am in a concert choir, and there are 12 of us, and there is this one girl, Ashton, and she sings loudly and not so wonderfullly. We have a concert tomorow and she sticks out, and I really don’twant us to sound bad because I am a Soprano I too. Plus there is a small group part of 4 people and she volunteered to do it, and it was not so pretty. I hate to be rude, but I just can’t take her singing anymore…please help!

In my choir is the same thing! I would not say like a bad singer, she just needs to learn how to hit a note. And the worst part was that she is a senior, I’m a freshmen, when I tried to give her a tip, It did not turn out to well. What I did was that I went to my choir teacher and told her, I do stand next to her, so I asked her is she could change me places, in a way I was still in my section. I don’t think that they tell her to leave, I just don’t think they do that, they just deal with it. Try meaby giving some tips to her, helping her out and stuff like that?

lol,.. uh, I think its better to be honest about things. If you never tell them, maybe noone else will either! I would just say like, Um, Im sorry but can you not be so loud cause I cant even hear myself sing! Maybe that would eliminate some of it. And your welcome

Answer #8

i duno just try sounding as sincere as possible
