Computer viruses affect many businesses and 55% of people claim that they have had issues with computer viruses on their home computers. The effects of computer viruses can be devastating. The only positive impact I can imagine computer viruses to be responsible for is computer sales (for when your computer is completely fried) or anti virus software engineers and people who fix computers (jobs).
