What do i do when I have community service at 2pm tomorrow but school doesn't get out until 2:30pm?

get a note from your parents. or tell your teacher to let you out early

Is this mandatory community service? In either case you should be able to get a note from the person in charge of your community service and your mother to dismiss you in time to make it - if its mandatory. If its not mandatory community service the only way to make it is to have your mother or father check you out of school.

I dont think it is mandatory but i doubt my mom would check me out of school. Ill ask her tomorrow just to be sure though.

You are helping the community and it is a non-profit activity. You can not put education before that. I’ve been in a situation where I could not attend my community service on time so I called and said that I would be there 1 hour later and if they would allow it. You say you need to go, but after all it is voluntarily, I think. Idk if this helps or not. But then again, you might just find it easier telling your mom to check you out of school so you can go. You could persuade her by telling her how much you want to help the community xD
