Closer to younger sister

I have a younger sister who is nearly 14 and I get on well with her most of the time but I would love for her to be able to confide in me stuff thats bothering her and at the moment we dont have that kind of relationship. How would I go about getting to that stage? and letting her know she cna talk to me? thanks

I’m 13 and I don’t convide in my sister. It would probably convide in her better if she confided in, if you know what I mean. if she talked to me about say her boyfriends and her matex etc I would know if she had gone through the same sort of thing before me and stuff likee that. if you try asking her how things are and if she tells you something, even if its insignificant, try to compare it to something thats happened to you. It helps!

what you could do is ask her things like “hows school?” she will probably say a simple answer like “good” or “fine” but then you can expand upon that and say “is everything ok at school?” or “is anyone bothering you at school?” maybe she wants to tell you stuff thats bothering her, but she thinks you will get annoyed if she tells you that kind of stuff. just tell her that you can talk to her about anything thats bothering her
