How clean off a scratched disk?

Grand Theft Auto: SA I’ve put just water on it, alcohol on it, and it get’s half way loaded on the thin strip bar thing then stops. Do I have to buy another one, or can I get it cleaned professional for less?

Alcohol and cotton ball, or alcohol swab

I’ve tried Alcohol wipes or do I actually have to use the cotton ball?

Put Plain white toothpaste onto the disk and wipe some into the disk and leave it to dry. i also suggest you buy a microfibre cloth as those dont scratch the disk even more :) i do this all the time with my disk and alcohol should be used as a last resort

Either one and if the doesn’t work I do believe thr is a solution u can get that will fill the scratches

I’ve tried all of those things they’ve gotten me further in the loading process thanks for the idea though.
