How can a welder get a job with a felony?

Can you give me a list of companies that hires felons in California, Lousiana and Nevada. I am off probation and has not been in any trouble in 6 yrs. I have gone back to school and have certificates in welding. However, I am having no luck in getting a job that sticks. As soon and I tell them about the felony, I don’t get the job. Or, if I don’t tell them and they find out I get fired. Please help if you can. Thanks

Hi!

To find companies hiring felons in your area, go to http://ww.governmentjobs.com and find your local employment office.

They should be able to put you on the right track to finding a job. I’ve also heard that United Way and the Salvation Army will employ those with felony records.
