Is chlamydia in your blood?

Can you get/give chlamydia 2/from someone by… kissing? touching? tongue kissing?

You should not let that blood go through. When they take your blood they give you a serial number attached to your blood packed and an anonymous 1800 number free to call any time to tell them not to use your blood. You don’t have to explain why they will just remove it.

It’s a pretty slim chance that you will be able to spread chlamydia through the blood since blood is screened pretty thoroughly. If you know you have it, though, avoid giving blood.

Chlamydia is contracted through vaginal, anal, or oral sex.

It is a very easy disease to treat. It usually only takes a single dose to cure it. See your doctor. I would think that after a short period you can still give blood, but check.

You can get chlamydia in your throat (through oral sex) and in you eyes by simply touching your eye with your finger if you first touched an infection site. (Also other means!)

Again, it is simple to cure. Doctors, clinics, Planned Parenthood can all help.
