How Come the chip in my camera says "file contains no images"?

How Come the chip in my camera says file contains no images but I took a lot of photos yesterday and today and I saw them but not anymore?

Answer #1

Maybe your memory card is defective or full?:(

Answer #2

Well the images may have deleted if you were roughly handling the chip or accidently dropped it

Answer #3

Did you format your camera? I accidentally formatted mine, and all of my pictures got deleted =/ I don’t even know what format means lol. Also, make sure the chip is inserted the correct way. I’ve inserted mine the wrong way and it said I didn’t have any pictures on it. After I re-inserted the chip, it worked.(: Hope this helps.

Answer #4

Answer #5

Answer #7

I don’t think you can get the pictures back. =/ But, I’m not completely sure.

Answer #8

Format is the equivalent of “clean me up (erase) and get me ready to store new data”.

Imagine a blackboard full on info getting erased so that new ‘stuff’ can be written down…
