Hello, I have a 1968 Chevrolet chevelle, no motor, what would be a good small block v8 to be able to run 11 or 12 second quarter mile?

302 is great but expesive 440 is a mopar motor which is a big block and expensive 454 is a GM motor which is a big block and also expensive

A 350 GM small block is a great choice since its is inexpensive and a large number of parts are available to make it fast. ‘68 Chevelle is a nice car good luck also put a muncie 4 speed in it = more fun to drive

hi I’m 13 but I know a lot about cars so if I were you I’d go with a 1969 gm z28 302ci, all aluminum light weight motor rated at 302hp that really makes something around 600hp your very welcome!
