Why wont my contacts save?

Lg Xenon question. I just got a new sim card for my cell phone and it all works just fine. But when I try to save a new contact it will say saved then I go to my contact book and it still says no contacts. did any one have this problem or know how to fix it?

I had a problem with my contact list on my xenon. Go to your contact list, press the button on the top right, Then press ‘view settings.’ And then choose where your contacts are saved.

i think ur contact is save in ur phone not in sim so when u try to do save it not save… check the setting in phonebook
