How can a cubic centimeter be used as a measurement for volume?

I was wondering why CC’s can be used as Volume?

1cc= 1ml 1000cc=1lt i really dont get it help me please lol i am really dumb hahaha

Answer #1

Because they are cubic. Picture a box, and how many cubic centermeters will fit inside will equal the volume of the box in cc’s. Same goes for cubic inches, feet ect. Now for the liquid thing it’s still the same 1cc = 1ml is because you could in therory pour a certain number of millilitres into a box that measures so many cc’s. Here’s an example in english that I am more familiar with: 1 cubc foot of water equals 7.48 gallons.

Answer #2

measurement of volume is in centimeter cube

Answer #3

A cubic centimeter is the amount of matter that fits into a box that is 1 cm high, 1 cm long and 1 cm wide.

101010 = 1000. Thus 1000 cubic centimeters is the amount of matter that fits into a box that is 10 cm high, 10 cm wide and 10 cm long. This is defined equal to 1 liter.
