Catherine Parr's hair

Look at this photo attached of a lock of Queen Catherine Parr’s (6th wife of Henry VIII) hair. You see that it is a light blonde colour. But if you type her in on google images, her famous portrait (the one where she is wearing a feather in her hat and a red dress) you see that her hair is brown underneath her Tudor cap. Was her hair naturally bleached over the years, or is her portait inaccurate and her hair was actually blonde? Thanks for your time. :D
