Why is my cat pulling hair out of her kittens?

Answer #1

my cat does that too. i believe its because they are practicing how they would fight in the wild-instint you know? Sometimes Dakota will carry her toys around by the scruff of their necks and then lick them. Sometimes she piles them by her food dish or on the couch when we are gone. And then she attackes them.

Answer #2

Oh, thats odd. But fair enough. I’m getting worried about on of the kittens though. My cat Pumkin has given it a bald spot.

Answer #3

A real kitten?

Answer #4

That’s very strange… It just goes to its kitten and pulls its hair out? Whoa…maybe you should consult a vet.
