Career in children

I am a teacher in a daycare. I have always felt the same way that you do, but I am telling you that it IS NOT a piece of cake job. I dont get paid nearly enough to have kids vomit on me or poop in their underwear. however, because I have a serious passion for children and seeing them taken care of and provided for, I do my job to the best of my ability every day. I have seen so many people come and go in my line of work. People think that it is going to be them playing dress up with the kids and playing with blocks, and reading stories, but it isnt always fun and games. There are lesson plans to write, activities to do, paperwork, clean up, diaper changes, taking care of sick kids, cleaning up vomit, blood, urine, feces, and snot, wiping noses, dealing with the other teachers and their CONSTANT gossip, and to top it off, a low salary. You have to be willing to look passed all that to see the beauty of the joy that you are bringing to the childs life. <3
