can x-box games be played on the 360, just wanted to know because I have a sheet load of x-box games and dont want to wast them

If I remember correctly xbox 360 used software emulation that worked with about 2/3 of the xbox games. There is a pretty decent list here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Xbox_games_compatible_with_Xbox_360
