can someone solve this please?

1/4 = 2(3.14)(square root of .28/X) aka.. one fourth equals two times pi times the square root of .28 divided by X

thanks!

Answer #1

Okie I did it wrong you gotta do 2 times pi take that answer and divide it by (1/4) then square both sides and then solve for X. Sorry!

Answer #2

I just did this prob and checked over it. Are you sure you wrote/typed it out right? it could possibly also be no answer.

Answer #3

do 2 times pi (about 6.28) then take that answer and subtract it from the 1/4 so it’ll be like this:

(1/4)-6.28=square root of .28/X

-6.03=square root of .28/x

to cancel a square root, you gotta square both sides:

36.3609= .28/X

the cross multiply and you get 36.3609X=.28 divide both sides by 36.3609 and you get (approx) .007

plug in the answer, of course for X to check it. X must be a positive number,

Answer #4

do 2 times pi first and just let it chill. do the sq. rt. of .28 and then it makes it a lil easier. that is a toughy.
