my boyfriend and I both had unprotected sex, and I was afraid I might get std’s are herpes.I went to the doctor and it turned out that I’m fine, so do I still have a chance gettting std from having unprotected sex still?

I’m curious about why you specified herpes, do you think he has herpes? Even if he does not have a breakout, you can contract herpes. There are many other STI’s you can get from unprotected sex. Usually the woman will get her first breakout within 2-10 days of having contracted herpes. You can get STI’s anytime you do not use protection.
