Can I link to a folder in Dreamweaver?

Is it possible to link to a folder in Dreamweaver as opposed to a file. I have a folder with a bunch of images and I want the user to click on the link to open that folder rather than linking them individual on a page. When I preview the page on my local site the folder opens and I can see the images, but when I publish the page to our remote site the folder won’t open and I get a messaging saying that I’m not authorized to open this page.

The remote site has “directories turned off” which means that you aren’t allowed to browse the contents of a directory. What you’ll need to do is create a page in that directory which then links to all the images.

OR if you can enable directory browsing on the server, that would work…however, you’d need to fiddle with the apache or IIS settings to do that.
