Can I get a Tattoo at 16?

hey im 16 and I really want a tattoo, not big just small and my parents wouldnt let me get a tattoo when I move out of the house lol or if im 18 and I dont wanna wait, so if I go to like thailand or bali or somehting on a holiday, if I walked around and saw a tattoo place could I get a tattoo there any age? then just hide it for like 2 years haha, do you need parent permission in thailand or anything

no, you legally have to be 18 if a place will tattoo kids at ANY age they ought to be shot seriously, KIDS do not need tattoos not only is it illegal and stupid and they can go to jail for that and get fined but such unprofesionalism guarentees you that there not going to be hygienic either so your at risk of many more thingsincluding infections by gettting it done by an idiot

It is not only illegal, but stupid. Trust me, YOU WILL REGRET IT. If you really want a tattoo, come up with your idea (no flash!) and think about it for at least a year, if not more. If you still want the same thing, go for it, but remember it will be on your body forever.

you can get one when you’re 16 with parental consent though. or wait till you’re 18 alone. You at least have to be 16 though.
