Can I download skype on a mini netnook?

Do the little netbook;minilaptops have enough memory for me to download skype to them?

Also the ones that have like 1gb or 3gb could I add more memory to them later on?

yea it will work but depending on how many applications and processes you are running at the same time say skype then you will notice slow speeds thus the no applications and processes running the faster the computer/laptop/notebook will be and for say skype.
