I reckon you should definitely check out these ones:

~Cowboy Bebop ~Naruto ~Steel Angel Kurumi ~Chobits ~Le Petite Cosette (Might be under “Little Cosette”- it’s a film in 3 parts) ~Neon Genesis Evangelion (The mother of all anime)

They’ll definitely keep you going for a while, although if you’re most into ‘serious’ anime, Chobits and Kurumi only really get all deep and meaningful towards the end.
