Can any book be downloaded?

I am looking for a certain book by Dwight Nelson, “Countdown to Showdown” and am wondering if I can download it.

Hi,

Not any book can be downloaded. The author has to consent to it, and it usually still costs money. The only exception is books that have lost their copyright, which happens (I believe) 70 years after the author’s death.
