Can a seventeen year old move out?

My girlfriend’s seventeen years old and she wants to move in with me and her mother says yes and gives consent but her father says no, but both parents are split up and my girl lives with her mother.

if her mom says yeah then its ok, because nobody is going to call the cops for a missing child.

by law, she cant move out becuase she is not considered an adult yet, but I think if she has mothers consent, she still cant move out. but her mom is who would worry if she disappeared, and she would call the cops. but since she knows, and is not worried, nobody will ever know.

her dad cant do anything about it, since he is no longer in charge or has responsibility of taking care of her, since she is now her mothers.

so yeah she can do it, but your mom might, might, get a word or two from an cop/official if her dad calls the cops on her.

I believe so Im agreeing with athleta4life But I dont think there is a thing her dad can do he cant call the cops cause your not holding her against her will the mum is fine with it too

My mum moved outta home when she was 15 And her parents couldnt do a thing about it She went into a share home thing so yeah

I think you guys’ll be rightt :)
