Do you think cameras should be aloud in a delivery room?

why or why not?

Answer #1

I think it’s a personal decision and should not be legislated. While it may be inappropriate for a parent or whoever the woman giving birth to is with, it is a precious moment for many mothers. Especially when it’s their first child. You would want every memory of them possible. Then again, if something goes wrong, it will be difficult to get things done with a person roaming around taking pictures and all. Since the mother is the one who is going through the pain and all, I think she and her spouse should be the deciders.

Answer #2

I think that decision should be up to the mother who is delivering. Obviously the birth of a child is something special, but it is also personal time in various ways. If the parents wish to capture it, I don’t think anyone has the business to tell them “no”.

Answer #3

I dont think the hospital should have the right to decide this matter. Giving birth is very personal experience and every woman has their own prefrences. Some like to record the event and watch it later and keep it - and they have every right too. It is their body and their baby being delivered that the are taping, no one elses. Its absurd to tell a woman that she cant film it if she wants too.

Answer #4

I think that its your choice wether you want to capture this moment or not, and the mom is the one who is suffering in there so it should be up to her as well.

Answer #5

yes and no there are reasons to back up each sides if i was having a baby at the moment i would know if i wanted the cameras but 2 months earlier i would want them in the room i think its up to mother because she is pain

Answer #6

i also think it is a personal decision but on the other hand if the mother is on medication she may regret her decision
