Where can I buy plain artificial nails (read description)?

so uhmm i have been lookin at my chewed up nails lately and they kinda disguist me.. so uhm where can i just buy PLAIN fake nails? like so i can paint them myself with my own nail polish.

Answer #1

I’d say a walmart or really any drug store around should sell them :)

Answer #2

And if not there try sallys beauty supplies :)

Answer #3

Walgreens, walmart, cvs, anywhere lol

Answer #4

Anyplace from cvs, rite aid, to your nearest drugstore as mentioned above! If they have a section for cosmetics they usually carry some form of fake nail selection.

Oh here is an idea, to be honest now that I think about it, if you are a nail biter, why not just go get them done professionally? instead of messing around with all those fake nails & making yourself sick…just as the professional nail tech to use a form to build an extension on the nail bed then use shellac on your nails. Its more of a glide on gel that is also a nail polish but looks more natural & will actually not even chip for 2 weeks. maybe that will make you stop biting all together! ;)

Answer #6

yea i got my nails done before, and they cost about 20 dollars on sale orginally it was 40. and it was my birthday week. so after 2 weeks i wasnt home so my aunt took off my nails and she said they didnt do it correctly cuz i had tips. and she took off my tips and it hurt so bad. but uhmm idk i really dont trust that kind of stuff and plus id rather spend my money on makeup (as usual) then buying nails.

Answer #7

which is why I said not to use tips…if you use forms and build them with gels which are safe then they wont cause damage to the nail plate. As an ex nail tech I wouldnt advise acrylics & stuff like that but gels are thinner, safe & cure in minuets. They look more real & if you the shellac done they just are perfect bcz it is just a colored gel that slides on like a nail polish but has no smears, no chips & nothing to worry about for 2 weeks til you see in grown’s & need a fill! The nail bed dont get damaged because there is no filing and no lifting.

Was just a better suggestion all around. I wouldnt do anything but gels using forms today especially on a nail biter.

I def get the whole rather buy make up thing ;P

CVS, Rite Aid, Walmart, Kmart, Target Walgreens, any beauty supply place and Sally’s Beauty usually has great sales on nails and nail polish :p
