How do I build a boat for science class?

FOr science class I need to build a boat that will hold at least 30 pennies and all I have is: 1 piece of 12x12 aluminum foil 10 plastic straws 1 measured lump of clay 24 in of masking tape I’m usually good at this kind of stuff but Lizzy and I are stumped. help please?

Make a skimmer and cover the skimmers top with Foil and tape the straws together and have the straws be diagonal at the sides. HA. lol

New update, I’m going to plug the holes in the straws with the clay to keep water out. Hope someone can help us with the rest.
