If you have to ask how long the pregnancy lasts, you need to reasearch so much more before considering breeding. There is so much involved and so much that you need to prepare for when you have a pregnant dog. Before breeding ask yourself 2 questions
- are you prepared to lose your female? If you do not know all the emergency delivery situations and how to deal with them, losing her is a very real possibility.
- Are you prepared to lose puppies? Another very real possibilty if you do not know how to revive and help a puppy that is having a rough time
