Boring or Bold Bangs?

I want to have a new look for back to school and right now I have side bangs. I want to know if straight bangs are the answer or if they only look good with big eyes. I have smaller eyes. Will this look be good for me or should I try something else?

A hair dresser would be able to help you better than we can. If you had a picture it would help. They say the smaller your forhead the longer the bangs and the longer your forhead the shorter the bangs.
