What's a body piercing apprenticeship?

An apprenticeship is a hands on way of learning a trade basically you get hired by a trades person who is willing to teach you the trade. For most trades you get paid to learn. I would assume that a body piercing apprenticeship would work the same.

you have to go to a body piercing salon and ask if they have an apprentice….some places may take your name and number if they will have another apprentice around or they will tell you when they will be looking for another one also most US states laws say you have to be at least 16 or older before becoming an apprentice in that trade but some masters will put you on payroll as like a cleaner or something if they think you have potential another thing is you have to be willing to work the hours. but the hardest thing now is finding apprenticeships especially since shows like LA ink and Miami Ink came out their are like none and I know they are tattoo shows but most body piercers are tattoo artists so they will probably have you learn both trades to make their life easier.
