Will black highlights on brown hair look good?

sounds like you did the right thing. I like it when people dye the bottom 1/3 of their hair! (that’s what I do… mine is a medium brown-ish red!)

I wouldn’t do those streaks… it would be tacky… and look fake… the point of highlights/lowlights is to spice things up… not “overdo” it.

Yeah, I agree, the dark brown with the tint of red would be pretty! I personally think that when people have light or medium hair, dying it black looks sooo FAKE, and also makes the hair look damaged! Only people with dark hair can really pull it off in my opinion!

you mean lowlights… and black… I think might be too drastic… why don’t you do a darker suddle brown? that would look really good… or a dark brown with the smallest tint of red…

Oh, and I’m not putting a lot of highlights in, I’m just putting streaks in. But isn’t that the same thing?
