Can birth control help cramps?

Answer #1

Yes, sooooo much yes! I come from a long line of women with female health problems especially endometriosis. When I started that whole fun process of puberty my cramps felt like something was exploding from within my stomach, it was bad. It took a while but I finally found a birth control that works for me and I have been on it for just that reason since I was like 13. Regardless of whether or not you are or plan to be sexually active birth control can help with horrid period symptoms.

Yes! And it helps your flow become much lighter. I used to have really really bad cramps so I got birth control and now my periods are so much easier to handle!

Answer #5

Like jaes my family history screams female health problems and my doctor has told me I probably have Endometriosis in the early stages. Although, the pill doesn’t help me in any way other than letting me skip periods. Sometimes it helps, sometimes it doesn’t, it just depends.

Answer #6

I’ve heard it does the trick to helping your menstrual cramps^^ Though you may encounter nausea from taking the pill, but this varies from woman to woman.
