best friend and maybe boyfriend problem and first period

k…I have 2 questions first is that my best friend has had this crush on this boy for like a year, but hasnt had the courage to ask him out. She really likes him, and trusts me a lot. The problem is, is that a few days ago I realized that I have a crush on him also. He broke up with his girlfriend last month (so he’s open) and I would have the courage to ask him out, and I really want to, but would that be like horrible if I did that? would my best friend like hate me?

my second question is that is it normal for a girl to be 13 and not get her period yet? because I am and I didnt get it yet. all of my friends have so I was just wondering. also, I want to know what its like when you get your first period (so im prepared) lol

you should ask your friend how she feels about it personal i would have been made and your friend did like him first .and it ok that you don’t have your perod my friend got at 15 my mom got at 16

If you ask this guy out, you might be looking for a new bestfriend. It is defintely not cool to be asking the guy she has been pinning away for for over a year. She would most likely feel betrayed and hurt. If you really think that this is the guy for you then I suggest talking to her about it. Wait it out a bit, it might just be a crush and not worth putting your friendship in danger for. Boyfriends come and go but bestfriends stick around through the good and bad. Good friends are hard to find and you should really consider her feelings before acting. As for your period, it is completly normal for a gril your age not to have her first period yet. Some girls get them really early and others get them later. If you aven<t had them yet don<t worry you<ll get them soon enough. Enjoy the freedom of no menstrual cramps!
