Why does my belly button ring have a little scab?

I got my naval pierced a few days ago and I’ve been cleaning it three times a day with anti-bacterial soap. but not its a little red and theres a little scab and it kinda hurts to touch. I hit it a few times on accident an I was thinking that was the reason but I don’t know for sure. should I be worried? help?

actually your body might just be rejecting the piercing or the type of medal. you might want to change it. I’ve have over 20 piercings and a couple of mine were taking out because I was allergic to the type of medal.

Probably not its sore from being pierced, but if it lasts more than about 2 weeks then you should get it checked or if it changes colors (other than red and skin color) then get it checked right away

I wouldn’t be worried. Mine was like that for a couple of weeks and it was fine.

scabs are natural, it’s just your body trying to heal itself duh…

so don’t freak ok, just dont move it around to much and yes continue cleaning it so you don’t get infected
