Bedwetting?
My kids are: girl-10 and boy -12 They still have a problem with bedwetting. Not every night, though. Could this be a medical problem or just laziness?
Here’s some good medical info: http://www.webmd.com/search/search_results/default.aspx?sourceType=undefined&query=bedwetting
Take care !!
Normally children who wet the bed have a smaller bladder. My nephews doctor says his body grew faster than his bladder and it’s harder for him to hold it…You can always ask your family doctor, I’m sure you could get better answers there!
You can take them to your family Doctor they do have pills to help but that down side is that they do invlove steriods which from that a lot of people gain weight because it increases appitite (sorry about the spelling )
its not lazyiness. I promise you that. you cant really do anything about it, it will pass when they get older. just tell them not to drink a lot of water before bed and to try to use the bathroom before they go to bed.
I am a mother of 6, wetting the bed runs in my family.sometimes they are not getting enough of a certin hormoan and thats why it happens. when my older ones wre young I took them to a few different doc.’s they tried the nose spray, and the pills..neither worked for mine, but they might for yours.(home remidies) give 1 big table spoonful of peanut butter..don’t know why but it works for some people..lol I don’t let my kids drink after 6pm, you know unless they are sick with cough.good luck, I have just decided to let them out grow it on their own..my little brother wet till he was 18, myself until I was 11.
either with my because hes like 15 I think and he still does it we believe it’s cause hes lazy but he told my cousin / his sister that it was cause he see’s ghost in the hall ways now I don’t know if you believe in ghost but I do and it’s been known that kids can see thing’s that adult’s can’t some times so it could be cause of that now if it is a medical condition then consult your child’s doctor and she/ he can give you pills to give the kid’s to make them stop it worked on me the pill’s that is
P.s. please check out my post http://www.funadvice.com/q/14_question
Usually kids at that age who still wet the bed do it because they are insecure about something, try talking with your kids and seeing why they are doing this. Not trying to be rood but if both of your kids are doing this there is probably somthing bothering them in the household, so talk to them see if you can help them overcome this.
my brother used to wet the bed when he was younger but he soon grew out of it just make sure they dont have a drink before bed and make them go to the toilet before they actually go to bed
