What do you mean? Are you asking how they are able to move around in the dark? They use sound waves.

they use echo location. They make a noise that bounces off of objects so they know where everything is. Its the same thing submarines use.

Exactly….i was wondering on how they move around in total darkness as how can they see things around.Do you mean that they move around following sound and still they don’t see anything in night time?

The sound bouncing off objects. It makes a different sound for solid objects, water, living things etc. They know where everything is from the sounds.
