Call it “A Crappy Garage Band” so when you get booked somewhere, the fliers read “A Crappy Garage Band is Playing Friday night at THIS VENUE!!!”

personally.. I would call my band the screaming pink elephants.

My brother’s old garage band was called some black guy so when someone can be talking and one would be like have you heard that one song by some black guy? haha that was funny
