B Kohtakte Vs Live Journal?

What is Kotakte? Before I’ve seen live journal covers the whole russian country. Is Kohtakte differ from LJ? Is LJ defeated?

I wouldn’t really say that Livejournal is a social networking site, it’s more blogging and stuff. It isn’t really all that popular anyway, I’m the only person I know out of my year group in school who actually has a Livejournal.

Myspace and Facebook seem to be the more popular options over here in England. Myspace seems to be going out of fashion somewhat recently. People also use Bebo, but that has definitely become less favourable of late.

I have never ever heard of B Kohtakte, but if it is a Russian website then I wouldn’t really expect it to be popular in English speaking countries.

The best way to determine what social sites are the most popular is comscore or similar…facbook isn’t ahead of myspace in the USA yet, and might never be considering how much money they are losing. Eventually they will have to turn a profit, and IMHO that’ll slow or kill their growth. Of the two you first mention, I’ve only heard of livejournal, not the other one.
