Artists, what should I make?

It doesn’t matter what you make. That will come with time and personal preferences. You don’t become an artist…you do it because you cant resist it. It’s innate…that desire to forego all else and create is necessary for real art to be made. There are so many great artists in the world right now that may never be recognized for their worth…authors…composers…painters…but they continue regardless.

Use your inspiration as your guide. What kind of art do you enjoy? That would be the natural jumping off point for you. Try and emulate those artists and hone your skills. Eventually your own voice and imprint will take over.

question is- what kind of mediums do you usually use- oil paint, stone, glass, clay, what kind of artwork do you most enjoy? I like to carve stone, make stained glass objects, and I usually get inspiration from the egyptians and the mayans and the native americans. so what kind of artwork can you do? here is a stone that I carved, it will be a ceremonial sword fitting.

I have a lot of supplies but im only 13 and I just want some ideas for masterpieces !!!
