Are yorkie black when they are born?

This woman is trying to get me to buy a yorkie off of her..

Its actually a yorkie and cockapoo mix..

So its a york poo..

Its really small.. And its all black. 2 are really furry curly haired which take after the cocappo father and then the other two are straighthaired. And they take after their mother…

The lady said that yorkie when the are little are black and then the hair gets litghter when they get older..

Shes only sellling them for a hundred dollars.. Which I thought was a really good deal.. But I need to know if this is true or not.

Thanks=]

yes they will start out black but as they get older you will see that they have a brownish and tanish tint but is will look adorable.

Im not shure what color the father is..

She only had the mother.. the poo was someone elses.. and I didnt ask.

But they are pretty small maybe 6 or 7 weeks.

Puppies change color a lot in the first few months…so it doesn’t seem to me that it’d be unusual for a Yorkiepoo to start out black, since they go to a silverish color as they mature. Did you go on the internet and see if you could find any Yorkie breeders with pics of their pups??

Also, if the sire is a black poo…a pup might tend to be blacker, since black is a dominant gene…

Jut be careful in buying a puppy that comes from a breeder of mixes. You don’t want to end up with an unhealthy pup. Ask questions!!! Have they been seen by a vet, had their first shots, been dewormed. Have the parents of the puppies had their shots etc. All these questions are important. A good breeder will take the pups to the vet without fail. There should be a health certificate that shows it as a healthy pup. Good luck!!
