Are blood clots normal?

I’ve been having blood clots for over a year and the sizes vary each time..I get them every period and are sometimes very painful. The thing that worries me is a lot of them are wayy bigger than a quarter…is it still normal?

having bllod clots in your period blood is normal. its just your cervix/uterus (whatever!) breaking away and thats what a period is. If it’s painfull though you best check with a doctor for peace of mind. good luck. always happy to help :)
