wow, well depending on the product, if it is gel you usually take some in your hand rub you hands together like 2-3x and then just run your finger’s through your hair. You can do that on either wet or dry hair to style you hair the way you like it!
if you need some more help on styling your hair you might want to check it out on the directions usually on the bottle or jar of the product.
